My art has always been inspired by genres such as fantasy and science fiction, and I have always been interested in character design and narrative art. I particularly love to make fantasy based art. A lot of my art deals with demons and angels as well as magic and fantasy creatures, races, and scenes. I have decided to put together a grouping of some printmaking pieces I have that both show this love for fantasy but also show wood block, linoleum block, and intaglio techniques. The pieces come in pairs where one is in black and white and the other is in color. I have a wood block still life of my favorite items, an intaglio, or etched landscape, and a linoleum block portrait of a demoness.

The two still life pieces allow me to show my printmaking technique. My intaglio landscape shows my love for fantasy that I mentioned before, and the black and white version even shows the darker side of my art that I like to use sometimes. My favorite pieces are the demon portraits, both because of the process and the subject. These pieces also show my love for darker fantasy subjects. When these three pieces are displayed together they show a wide range of techniques, yet they all work with each other due to the idea of black and white versus color.
