I have always loved dreams, a place where imagination runs wild and thoughts are free to reach into places of obscurity and adventure. Reality blurs into the fantastical and creates a childlike sense of intrigue, an emotional imprint that flows into the day.
Because of my interest in the subconscious, Representational Surrealism touches my fancy. Here I have taken my inspiration and breathed life into my mind’s eye, the greyscale ink-wash helping to invoke a melancholic aura.
I created these works with the intent to portray contemplation with a touch of humorous absurdity; I hope for the viewer to find their own intrigue and adventure in my creation…
