Current Sinclair fine art students are eligible to enter the Fine Art Student Juried Exhibition by submitting up to five original works produced for their art classes. A juror, selected by Sinclair's fine art faculty, reviews the submissions, selects works for the exhibition, and awards best in show, second, and third place.

The juried pieces are exhibited from late March through early April. A few pieces are selected as Purchase Awards and the students are paid for their art and their works become part of Sinclair's art collection. Over 140 Student Purchase Awards are located throughout Sinclair’s Dayton and Centerville campuses. This program is made possible thanks to the generosity of Burnell R. Roberts and the Mauch Endowment Fund.
